this policy explains what personal data pixsedit collects through pixsedit.com and our editing service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. it is written to cover the eu/uk gdpr and india’s digital personal data protection act, 2023.
1. who we are
pixsedit ([legal entity name — confirm]), WZ-332 Nangal Raya, Lajwanti Garden, New Delhi 110046, India, is responsible for your personal data (“data controller”). contact: [email protected].
2. what we collect
- free trial / contact form: name, company, email, website, monthly image volume and your message.
- images and instructions you send us for editing, which may show people (for example models).
- chat: messages and technical data when you use the live chat (tawk.to).
- usage data: ip address, browser, pages visited and similar data collected by our server, security tools and — only if you agree — analytics and advertising cookies (see our cookie policy).
- map: if you click “show map”, google receives your ip address.
3. why we collect it, and our legal basis
- to reply to your request and run your free trial — steps before a contract / our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
- to deliver the editing service and invoice you — performance of a contract.
- to keep the site secure and working — legitimate interest.
- analytics and advertising cookies — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- to meet legal and tax obligations — legal obligation.
we do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. who we share it with
we use these providers to run the site and service. they process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own terms:
- hosting provider of pixsedit.com
- google (gmail for email, google analytics, google adsense, google maps)
- meta (facebook pixel)
- tawk.to (live chat)
- automattic / wordpress.com (jetpack)
- wordfence (security)
- file-transfer services you choose to send images with (wetransfer, google drive, dropbox)
we may also disclose data if the law requires it.
5. international transfers
we are based in india and some providers are in the usa or other countries. where eu/uk data is transferred outside the eu/uk, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
6. how long we keep it
- enquiries that do not become an order: up to [12 months — confirm], then deleted.
- client images: deleted [30 days — confirm] after delivery unless you ask us to keep them longer.
- invoices and business records: as long as tax law requires.
7. your rights
depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- access the personal data we hold about you
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your data
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive a copy of it in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time (for example for cookies)
- nominate someone to exercise your rights (india dpdp act)
to make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “data request” and say what you need. we reply within 30 days. you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the eu, the authority in your country; in india, the data protection board of india).
8. children
our service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. we do not knowingly collect children’s data. if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
9. security
we use https, security monitoring and access controls to protect data. no system is 100% secure, so please do not send sensitive personal data we do not need.
10. changes
we may update this policy. the “last updated” date above shows the latest version.
